In spaces where an elevator machine room cannot be built, the driving unit is placed on top of the elevator car or inside the elevator shaft.

The magneto-excited synchronous motor, along with the encoder coupled with the motor and the closed circuit driving system which ensures sensitive control, provide maximum comfort during start-stop and travel. Alignment with floor and the rope and pulley stages are much more productive than the conventional systems.

Total elimination of gear assembly has minimized the need for maintenance and repair. Machine systems without gear assembly provide energy saving. Machine systems without gear assembly are suitable for high speed systems and systems machine room-less, owing to their compact design and noiseless operation. Electromechanical brake coupled with the motor ensures high safety. As the electromechanical brake is used as a safety mechanism against uncontrolled upward movement of the car, the need for using a sliding brake to prevent uncontrolled upward movement of the car is eliminated.
